One paper, entitled “Precision Low-Cost Robotics for Math Education: Work in Progress” was accepted for presentation at ASEE’s 122nd Annual Conference and Exposition. It is co-authored by several students (Jean Lapaix, Malissa Augustin, Charles Weinthal, and Santiago Aguerrevere) and two professors (Dr. Shankar, Engineering, and Dr. Ploger, Education). Malissa and Santiago are continuing the work as they pursue their MSCE theses on this topic. Malissa will develop math lessons with our FAU robot, while Santiago will improve the QOS (quality of service) metrics for the robot. If you wish to explore any related topic, contact Dr. Shankar at More info on DIS/MS topics is found here
